We believe: God our Father has a heart to save...100,000's in NE Ohio!

Picture
So Jesus told them this parable: "What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country, and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.' Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance." Luke 15:3-7 ESV

God is fully able to save by the millions. Our experience is that His harvest is ready to bear an astonishing yield of fruit for God! The gospel of Christ is POWERFUL to destroy death and save! Our Lord Jesus needs harvesters...10,000 of them, here in NE Ohio. Jesus is still crying out to us, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields." Luke 10:2 ESV

We are praying, and in the strength of Christ we will not faint. The Lord has heard. He is building His army of harvesters. This is the Testimony of Jesus. People who are not ashamed to speak Jesus name before men, begin spiritual conversations, and call men to repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus. This is our mission at Testimony Church, making Harvesters - disciples who are powerful at making more disciples who bear more fruit! We have laid hold to a movement born in the heart of God Almighty.

Pray with us. Be empowered with us. Have faith in God Almighty with us. Obey with us, even if it calls for suffering loss. Worship God with your verbal witness to the lost, not just to each other on Sunday morning! Be a Stephen, not a pew-sitter. Be a doer, not a hearer only. Let your faith cost you something and receive a great reward (Matthew 5:11-12). Go with us, at all costs, into God's great harvest: the lost and perishing people you know and love. Christ is with us. He is able.

Testimony Church: The Overcoming Testimony of Jesus

The Vision of Testimony Church:

The Vision of Testimony Church is to reproduce in NE Ohio a revival church planting movement similar to the one described in the book of Acts that will saturate NE Ohio with the gospel of Jesus Christ. This vision has the objective of discipling 10,000 Overcoming Laborers for God’s Harvest and planting 1000 self-reproducing churches.

The Mission of Testimony Church:

Testimony Church believes God’s heart is for the harvest. The Lord is fully able and willing to bring 100,000’s to Christ in our region in the next 20 years. We believe the only reason revival is not here is because there are so few harvesters laboring for Christ.

Testimony Church is more than a church plant. It is an evangelism and discipleship movement that empowers young believers to immediately say “Yes” to Jesus in 2 things: 1-Follow Jesus; 2-Fish for Men. We produce overcoming disciples who obey Jesus and witness to His gospel. True disciples produce more disciples. Any church that does not produce disciples who reproduce each year is a broken branch, and not worthy of the Lord of the Harvest.

Testimony Church uses T4T (Training for Trainers) Kingdom Kernels to develop its methodology and to generate a revival DNA within each disciple. Every disciple, without exception, is viewed as a potential leader of a house church meeting. Each disciple is trained to be competent and confident at each progressive step of the biblical discipleship process.

This “Movement” DNA is based on 2 Tim 2:2 – “The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to share with others.” The objective is to train believers over the course of 12-18 months to witness to the lost, train new converts, and form reproducing discipleship communities, generation after generation through four generations.

Testimony Church is a witnessing church, based on Revelation 12:11 - “They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.” The apostle Paul used very young disciples to evangelize the known world in twenty years. Like Jesus and Paul, Testimony Church will empower new converts to bear witness to Christ within their world of influence from the first hours of their conversion.

The Heart of Testimony Church is to glorify God through worshiping His Son Jesus Christ. Although we meet for worship, our worship is not focused on a corporate singing/sermon meeting, but works out in absolute life-surrender, single-hearted devotion, and daily obedience to Christ and the His gospel commission. The first objective in discipleship is to bring the convert to a white-hot, life-ruling love for the person of Jesus Christ. We do all things to magnify Jesus’ worth in their heart. Self-sacrificial obedience flows naturally out of such a heart.  The Captivating Beauty of Jesus Christ is, therefore, the Overcoming Power of Testimony Church. This is the Christian life in the grace of Jesus Christ.

The Practice of Testimony Church will involve home meetings, outreach and mission experiences, and regular joint Celebration Meetings. This meeting is a gathering of members of the multiple house-churches for a larger meeting time. All meetings will have three components: Look Back; Look Up; Look Ahead. The key elements to our meetings will be times of Pastoral Care, Worship, Accountability, and Vision Casting (Look Back); the New Lesson (Look Up); Practice of the Lesson, and Goals Setting/Prayer (Look Ahead). The four bolded elements are considered indispensable to the success of the movement.
